User Groups

The User Groups are helping to define the requirements of the HELIO project and then validate any products. Follow the link for User Groups for more information.

Community Coordination Meetings (CCM)

The Community Coordination Meetings are places that we can gather user input. They are typically splinter meetings at larger Conferences but dedicated meetings are also planned. The first such meeting was a splinter session held in conjunction with SOTERIA at the 6th European Space Weather Week in November 2009.

Coordinated Data Analysis Workshops (CDAW)

The CDAWs provide the opportunity for the HELIO Team to demonstrate the capabilities of the project to community. In each Workshop we will address science problems that are appropriate for the capabilities of the system at that time – see the Release Strategy.

An internal CDAW was held at UPS/IAS in November 2010 (project month 18). The first CDAW involving the wider community was held at TCD in April 2011 (project month 23). The second CDAW involving the wider community was held at ICTP (Trieste) in October 2011 (project month 29).

There will be two further CDAWs during the lifetime of the project that will involve the wider community. For more information on the next CDAW, follow the link for CDAW-3.
